If you love that flavour of banana and chocolate mixed together for a melt-in-your-mouth fest, then you have come to the right place. Check out my favourite go-to breakfast smoothie.
I have just discovered this mix for my morning smoothie, and not only does it taste like heaven, its 2pm right now, and I’m still full. Now that is a great sign that I have created something brilliant.
So how do you make it you ask?! Its easy. So Easy. 4 ingredients easy, in-fact.
All you will need for this chocolate goodness is this:
- 4 frozen bananas
- 8 pitted dates (these are small)
- 2 tbsp of raw cacao powder
- 1 cup of water or a plant milk or your choice
All I recommend is soaking the dates in warm water for around 10 minutes, and chopping up the frozen banana before blending it all up, so that your blender doesn’t burst into flames from over-working!
Top this with anything your heart desires, I sprinkled some coconut shreds, some passionfruit (cause ya girl loves herself some passionfruit), and some cacao nibs, cause you can never have enough chocolate right?

Instead of having an unfulfilling breakfast, like the majority of people have, it is so important to fuel our bodies with goodness every morning, so it feels as though we can take the day head on.
This smoothie is packed full of fibre from the bananas and dates, which helps eliminate any wastes in the body, so it keeps the digestive system healthy. Both are also filled with so many important vitimans and minerals, such as vitamins C and B6, aswell as potassium, which are all important for heart health!
Finally the raw cacao powder is the final touch as this is a superfood, and already with that word we can tell its going to be beneficial to us. This powder contains the highest level of antioxidants of all the other natural foods In the world. Cool right?! It also includes so many more awesome stuff, so you definitely want to include this in your diet, if you haven’t already.
